Dental Nurse

Julie joined us at Ferring Dental Practice as a dental nurse in 2020. She supports our dentists and hygienists and assists them during procedures, maintaining a clean, tidy and sterile environment in which to work and accurately updates patient records. Before Julie became a dental nurse she worked in the banking and insurance sector. However, it was whilst living in Australia working as a receptionist at a dental practice that she gained the interest in dentistry, and after returning to the UK in 2018 she decided that she would like to train as one herself, and here she is! Julie enjoys working as part of a great team where everyone pulls together, motivating her to always go the extra mile.

Outside of dentistry, Julie likes spending time with her family, socialising with friends and travelling the world. She likes to set herself challenges, which has seen her take part in the Brighton Marathon, climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, taken on Treetop adventures, and she is looking forward to the i360 Skywalk experience in Brighton soon. After all that excitement, she is rather partial to a decent pistachio ice cream!
